This three track EP CD issued on 30th September 2002. It was released on the EMI Gold label with the catalogue number 7243 5 51508 2 0. It entered the UK charts on 12 October 2002 for 2 weeks, reaching number 59.
At the time of the recording of the title track on this single The Wurzels consisted of Pete Budd, Tommy Banner, John Morgan and Dave Wintour. Tracks 2 and 3 were recorded with Pete Budd, Tommy Banner and Tony Baylis (1976). The case insert also credits Russ Crook who later joined the band as Sedge Moor and part-time Wurzel Louie Nicastro as producer.A promotional video for the title track was produced to accompany the release, one in colour and one in black and white, both can be viewed here.
Track 1 - Don't Look Back In Anger (N Gallagher) - was a new recording. Tracks 2 and 3 - Morning Glory (Fletcher/Flett) and I Am A Cider Drinker (H Bouwens/The Wurzels) were the recordings from 1976. The single reinforced the recently introduced new following the band had attracted with the ‘Combine Harvester 2001 Remix' and soon after release reached the UK Top 60 with plenty of airplay and interest from the media. The title track is a straight ‘wurzelised' cover of the Oasis hit of the 1990s and it was included on the 2002 Never Mind The Bullocks album. The other two tracks included are the original 1970s versions of two of the Wurzels' best-loved songs. A music video was issued to go with the CD release and was available in both a dramatic black and white version and a standard colour version.
The CD was released on the EMI Gold record label with a black/white/silver design.
