The Wurzels and Adge Cutler Discography

A Taste Of The West
The Wurzels

Zenith CIA 001

Release Date: 28 June 2004

The Wurzels went into the Sil Willcox's Charlton Farm Studio in Falkland, East Somerset and re-recorded a dozen of their favourite old Wurzels songs. The songs are linked by Tommy and Pete's between-song banter so that the whole album becomes a journey around the West Country from North Somerset down to Cornwall. The songs are produced quite differently to the originals, so this makes good listening especially alongside the orginal recordings.

Band line-up: Pete Budd (vocals, banjo), Tommy Banner (accordion, vocals), Jai Howe (bass, vocals) and John Morgan (drums, vocals).

Produced, recorded and additional instruments by Louie Nicastro.

  1. Pill Pill (Cutler)
  2. Sunny Weston Super Mare (Trad arr Budd)
  3. Virtuet Industrial (Cutler)
  4. Down In Nempnett Thrubwell (Cutler/Davis)
