This was a repacking and reissue of the 1968 album 'Cutler Of The West'. It was released in March 1980 as a 12" vinyl LP on the Music For Pleasure record label (a subsidiary label belonging to EMI) in stereo (catalogue number MFP 50476). A cassette tape release was also made at this time.
This was a repacking and reissue of the 1968 album 'Cutler Of The West'. The master discs for 'Cutler Of The West' were used (identical matrix number) and, unusually for an Album of Adge's, the run of the previous album must have been high enough to need a second mother to be manufactured at least for Side 1 as in the example below. It would make sense for examples to be out there with Side 2 on a second mother. The label on the vinyl is the standard one used for the MFP record label. MFP was originally set up in 1965 to enable the selling of EMI records in non-traditional outlets such as W H Smith the booksellers. By the 1980s it was a major budget label in the UK. The sleeve artwork was redesigned for this repackaged album - the original picture was used but was framed with a new title and text. The sleeve notes were revised and the layout overhauled but still effectively conveyed the same track listing information as on the original album. A slightly re-jigged version of the last paragraph of the notes written by Brian Patten was also included. No new information was added, except to mention that the album had been originally released as 'Cutler Of The West'.

Stereo pressing MFP50476, matrix YAX3641 and YAX3642. It appears that this LP only had one pressing run, numbers sold were not high enough to need a repressing. The rather light vinyl weight of only 120g is typical of EMI LPs in the 1980s. The outer sleeve was manufactured by Garrod & Lofthouse as was usual for Adge Cutler EMI albums. The inner sleeve was of type 'M ' .
