The Wurzels and Adge Cutler Discography

The Champion Dung Spreader
Adge Cutler & The Wurzels

Columbia DB8145

Release Date: 10 March 1967

Side 1

  1. The Champion Dung Spreader (Cutler)

Side 2

  1. When The Common Market Comes To Stanton Drew (Cutler)

Producer: Bob Barratt
Engineer: Geoff Emerick

The follow-up single to Drink Up They Cider; the two tracks were also from the same recording session and both appeared on the Adge Cutler & The Wurzels debut album. Champion Dung Spreader was Adge's answer to Lonnie Donegan's 1960 UK hit My Old Man's A Dustman - but sadly the general public were more interested in rubbish than muck spreading, and the single failed to chart.
