The
only EP issued by Adge Cutler & The Wurzels - and
the one that gave its name to the Scrumpy &
Western genre of music.
This
release was issued hurriedly to satisfy demand for more
material following the success of the first single,
Drink
Up Thy Cider - both sides of which are included
as Side 2 on the EP. All four cuts were recorded at
the first Royal Oak session and included in the Adge
Cutler & The Wurzels album.
We
have no release date for this EP, but the copyright
year of 1967 on the two new tracks would suggest that
it was released in early 1967, probably after Drink
Up Thy Cider had charted (February). |
