The Wurzels and Adge Cutler Discography

The Wurzels Greatest Hits
The Wurzels

EMI Note NTS 190 (vinyl)

Release Date: November 1979

The 'long-awaited' Greatest Hits compilation album is notable for the inclusion of the previously unreleased version of Drink Up Thy Zider - the famous "disco" version, much sought after by collectors. It also included for the first time on an album The Wurzels' tribute to Bristol City FC - One For The Bristol City, as well as the original version of the song Morning Glory. Naturally, the album also included all the band's chart hits!

Band line-up: Tommy Banner (piano, organ, accordion, vocals), Tony Baylis (bass, bass guitar, sousaphone and vocals) and Pete Budd (banjo, guitar and vocals).

Produced by Bob Barrett
Strings & horns arranged and conducted by Ed Welch
Drums: Dougie Wright, Alan White and Tony Fennell
